Pleasereadthewarrantycarefully,andkeepitvalidbycomplyingwiththeowner'sobligationsitcontains.Youshouldkeepamaintenancerecordforyourmotorcycle.Toassistyouinkeepingthisrecord,wehaveprovidedspaceintheMAINTENANCERECORDchapterwhereanauthorizedKawasakidealer,orsomeoneequallycompetent,canrecordthemaintenance.Youshouldalsoretaincopiesofmaintenanceworkorders,bills,etc.,asverificationofthismaintenance.Federallawprohibitsthefollowingactsorthecausingthereof:(1)theremovalorrenderinginoperativebyanypersonotherthanforpurposesofmaintenance,repair,orreplacement,ofanydeviceorelementofdesignincorporatedintoanynewvehicleforthepurposeofnoisecontrolpriortoitssaleordeliverytotheulti-matepurchaserorwhileitisinuse,or(2)theuseofthevehicleaftersuchdeviceorelementofdesignhasbeenremovedorrenderedinoperativebyanyperson.Amongthoseactspresumedtoconstitutetamperingaretheactslistedbelow:●ReplacementoftheoriginalexhaustsystemormufflerwithacomponentnotincompliancewithFederalregulations.●Removalofthemuffler(s)oranyinternalportionofthemuffler(s).●Removaloftheairboxorairboxcover.●Modificationstothemuffler(s)orairintakesystembycutting,drilling,orothermeansifsuchmodificationsresultinincreasednoiselevels.TamperingWithNoiseControlSystemProhibited
